TEFZEL®

Dupont's Tefzel is a modified copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene. It provides excellent resistance to attack by chemicals and solvents which can cause rapid deterioration of other plastics. In addition to its chemical resistance, Tefzel has excellent mechanical strength, stiffness, and abrasion resistance. It also has a low dielectric constant and uniform electrical properties.

San Diego Plastics Inc.'s product line includes grades Tefzel 200, and Tefzel 280 in rod size 1/8" diameter to 3-3/4" diameter and sheet thickness from 1/16" to 1".
